I'm on this too I was told when you are diagnosed with diabetes high cholesterol can occur so they start you on atvorstatin as a prevention

They have increased my glic but I think that my pancreas is failing even more so I'm probably going to have to start on insulin soon which I am petrified about :(

Hi Paddy I had a real bad bout of pancreatitis in 2008 and then again in 2011 both times I had pseudocysts which had to be drained. In 2009 they opened me up and removed around 50% of the pancreas along with my gall bladder, in 2012 diabetes turned up to the pancreas party and I've managed it...
