    I'm sure this has been covered before but I'm looking for fruits to accompany my beloved double cream :D Yesterday I had raspberries with were about 6g carbs for 50g. What else can I have with a similar 'bang for my buck'?! Cheers, Andy

    Thanks. Beers were one of my first concerns lol Marston's Resolution (Used to be called Low C) is only 1.8g carbs & 87kcal per 275ml bottle! Tastes ok too.

    To be fair, I was only just 'in' the diabetic range but as you know once you're in, you're in. I have been very strict with myself and intend to continue, although I may take my foot of the gas slightly. ;)

    Thanks guys. I really am grateful for what I've learned here. I have worked hard at it but without the information gleaned here I would probably have taken the NHS advice to keep eating carbs and who knows, perhaps I would've been on meds by now?!
