I tried clean eating before but still had carbs such as cous cous n sweet potatoe etc n felt needed little insulin. Has anyone else done low carb lifestyle?? Any thoughts on this?

Tried my arms no the lumps appear soon as injected n stay there for days now. Jus phoned the nurse advised to go back on my lantus as of today. Luckily still had a pen in my fridge.

Oh thats good to know think the lantus far better for me

I do exercise a lot n more so recently so im not really injectin into much fat but never had this with lantus.

Yeah its bad enough having diabetes and bad periods but when they counter act each other its worse. Plus i already get bad pmt so i was like a fiend this month between frustration at sugar levels n pmt. lol

So how do ye know when yer honeymoon period has ended coz i also exercise a lot so i never know if its jus days im not exercising it appears higher etc. its very hard. Thanx for yer replies.

Yes i am a regular gym goer and runner n i find this the same due to days of exercise n days inbetween, trying to get the insulin balance is hard im on novo rapid n lantus but my nurse has said the levemir is better for n makes more a difference with people who exercise.

I have been gettin stomach problems for a few years before diagnosed with diabetes but not diagnosed with anything. I was tested for coeliac disease but i dont have that. But i think i have developed an intolerance to eggs n thats whats been flaring my stomach problems
