    LCHF Diet on Glaucophage + Gliclazide

    I currently take 1000mg Glaucophage twice a day along with 320mg of Gliclazide and 20mg of Simvostatin at night. I'm about to embark on the LCHF Diet and read that this particular diet and Gliclazide don't bode well in terms of low blood sugars. Is there any truth in this?

    Also I take glaucophage 1000mg twice a day, 4 x 40mg gliclazide a day plus just had my Simvostatin dropped to 20mg at night. Aside from thst Nitrazepam for anxiety and sleep issues

    Yes I'm honest enough to admit I'm around 130-135kg so I'm severely obese I've always struggled to combat weight loss but csnt seem to find a balance between healthy eating, exercising and working I think that's my biggest hurdle

    I don't have crohns but you're point about eating rice, pasta ect. Is a no no for Blood sugars. Especially if you wish to keep this under control. I do have neuropathy and this can be most difficult to control more so now it's cold. Have a look around the forum there's some good pointers and...
