What have you had for your evening meal?

Well I had a breaded (well gluten-free breaded) chicken fillet with rice and garlic butter - may have added a tad too much garlic though, as all I can taste now is garlic :)
And yes I prefer to eat early, I'm starving by the time I get home from work :) and it helps me see what my sugars levels are doing.

Just about to go and cook a stroganoff with chicken thighs mushrooms and bacon in creme fraiche. Will probably have some courgette spaghetti with it.
Oooo, sounds positively delish!

Just finished it off and yes it was..
Skipped the courgette spag and just sliced and baked them in the oven after pan frying in a bit of butter.
Used the Roddha creme fraiche which is the richest creamiest imaginable and we just scoffed the lot between the 2 of us.
Quite replete now.. no pud required.

I love the Rhodha creme fraiche as I'm not keen on cream I prefer the acidity of creme fraiche

Blimey, you all eat early!

Mine will be 2 big grilled lamb loin chops, 2 small new potatoes smothered in butter, garden peas smothered in butter, and loads (and I mean loads) of sliced mushrooms fried in butter. A glass of red wine (already started) and a cup of tea for afters.
Was there any butter in the tea?

We have very rigid meal times due to my son being autistic and routine/rule bound - it's lunch at 12 dinner at 5 and supper at 10 (for him) it is a bit tying sometimes and he is flexible outside the house such as going out for dinner - in a way I like it as it helps with my control and my no snacking policy lol
I'd love to have his structure!

Just beef chilli Con Carne with half a small baked potato with cheese on top.bit carby with the potato and all but first carbs of the day.

A small piece of leftover roast roast chicken, remains of pack of sliced chorizo, and some mixed olives, with a portion of home cooked ratatouile I found in freezer; followed by my last couple of spoonfuls of pomegranate seeds in Greek yogurt, with a little erythritol to sweeten. And my oblibgatory mug of herb tea...

Robbity
