Thank you for this . I have always been resistant to raising my insulin levels - it just doesn't make sense to have an insulin resistant illness and increase insulin. I am mainly HFLC been type 2 for 15 years diagnosed when I had pancreatitis! Now 72 have had weight problems from Junior school...
I think we might be worrying too much about the blood sugar readings, not as if they are very high and as long as one id losing weight and dependency on drugs. Spent the last day or so catching up on the wisdom of Jason Fung very interesting.
I think I have had a low grade depression on and off during my life but recently felt I was having low sluggish states in response to my metformin which I don't tolerate too well. I have settled for controlling my diabetes with a low carb diet, slow release insulin which I take at bedtime...
One egg not too bad - hard boiled easiest but 2 eggs can upset my system all day. I do not tolerate it well. I think it is best to take it after the meal. I cannot cope with 1000 slow release I find I feel queasy before my next meal. I don't think it sits well with a low carb diet. Feel I do...
