    There is a book called Eat Rich Live Long which has an excellent section on minerals and vitamins which may be deficient, and why, in modern life, and when using a low carb diet (at least in the early stages) and gives detailed information on which foods contain which minerals and vitamins...

    HBA1C & Cholesterol

    I also recommend CBD oil ... my wife was diagnosed recently with PMR, and was racked with pain and also anxiety about being put on steroids ... she discovered CBD oil and her doctor was happy for her to try it ... she found it immensely helpful and has been able to reduce the steroids dosage...

    Apples on a low carb diet

    I think everyone has at least one item they want to eat and can't, and for me it is apples! I love them but they don't love me. It seems if I even look at an apple my waistline expands! Thank heavens I discovered raspberries and strawberries are really low carb, and I can tolerate them...

    My GP is on my side ...!

    Visited my GP today to discuss diabetes progress. She was happy to hear I was now exercising and dieting more strictly, and had lost 10 lbs. She agreed with some supplements I suggested, so I went ahead and brought up statins (heart in mouth) ... no pun intended. I suggested my medications...

    Yes, you are correct ... I was trying out daily weighing more out of boredom than anything, but I have come to the conclusion that the daily fluctuations are just white noise, and will now return to weekly weighing, as per usual. I am keeping a log anyway, so I will be able to measure trends...
