    Hi, yes most days yes, I have tried different injection sites & different breakfasts - low carb which is what I have been doing recently - even today though it happens- I just cannot see why this is happening!!     So this am woke up & was 5, gave 2 units straight away, an hour later had 100g full fat Greek yoghurt,handful blueberries & 5 Brazil nuts -gave 3 units for this As you can see by the graph just risen & risen So far today I have given 14 units I really don’t know what to do anymore- feel awful

    I am waiting for docs to ring back today, 5am - bm-11.9- gave 7 units to cover my breakfast (25grams carbs). 7.40am - 12.8 & rising-gave 1 unit Took the dog for a walk 8.09am - 16.2 rising 8.15am - 15.4 level 8.29am - 17.2 rising [emoji30] This is beyond a joke I’ve given 10 units for 25grams...

    I feel I’m missing that trickle effect of insulin (that you get with the pump) numbers went as high as 17 this am, came down to 10 at 11am Also the frustrating part is I truly feel my nurse is just like deal with it!! She seems to think things are going well & I need to focus on the positives?!!

    Hi Thanks for the response So this am 2 small bits of toast- 12grams carbs My insulin to carb ratio is 1-10 or 1-12 been using the latter Numbers were 8 on waking -gave 6 units, 40 mins after breakfast I was 10.6-gave 1 unit, an hour later there 15.4-gave 3 units Another hour later 16.7...

    Thank you - that’s interesting I have done that sometimes but it just seems to stick high Had a right mare on Thursday it just stayed at 16 for nearly 5 hours despite lots of insulin At the moment my numbers are normal [emoji4] 5.6

    For tea we mainly eat chicken/fish & salad:vegetable We don’t tend to eat high carb foods
