Hi, I am very sorry to even comment as I am generally as daft as a brick with all this stuff but have been following, may I ask does this happen everyday? have you tried injecting a reasonable amount without food and closely watch your bg to catch the hypo? Have you used all other sites apart from belly? Seems like a lot of skin area for it all to be overused, surely if that was true, some sites would be better than others? ie. your "favourite" sites.
I take metformin, although the endo yesterday was scratching his head and asking why, he didn't take me off it *shrug* but it does not seem to do me any harm.
Again I apologise for being thick, I was under the impression that the slow acting insulin gave us a baseline, then we adjusted for meals with the quick acting, now wouldn't that mean your slow acting is too low? I take a split dose (Levemir) now, one in the morning, one in the evening, I take 14 units at night and 10 in the morning, my point is if you are on a split dose, have you tried varying the doses? if you are not, maybe worth a try? sorry if these are dumb questions, you have miles more experience than me.
