    Apixaban & injury

If it's only a week since your accident then I would think this is normal (the yellowing) but hey what do I know! Would you have a high temperature with internal bleeding?

    Apixaban & injury

Could the yellowing be caused by inner bruising as I got this after an injury once?

    Sharing what worked for me

Hey I eat loads of Spinach too ... straight from the bag. LOVE it! My BP is moderately high but always different when done at home!

    diabetic ice cream

Might sound silly, but I turn the word Carbs into 'pounds' nowadays. If I see something over £6 ... knowing that my top whack for the entire day is hopefully under 50 then I deem it a waste of 'money' :D

    Testing Advice

Then you have to avoid eating until after the test Nina, although I think you may be able to have tea/coffee but not entirely sure. I just have water. x

Fantastic achievement and well done you! You don't say if your cholesterol/blood pressure etc was high, and has altered if so? This would be good to know

    Testing Advice

Hi Nina29. If your fasting blood test is for diabetes, it is usually a morning appointment because you can shift breakfast until afterwards. An afternoon appointment might mean that you feel a need to eat? If the test is for something else then I'm unsure. Sorry. Not much help :( Anyone else?

Anyone tried Sage tea, with results?

I came across an article last night that interested me. It's printed in an American journal but it made me wonder if anyone already uses, or has tried Sage Tea to combat bad cholesterol. Here's a section that I read In one study, consuming sage tea twice daily lowered “bad” LDL cholesterol and...

Type 2 How much would a binge day affect me?

I LOVE that, because it goes to show that sometimes we 'think' we are missing out but we soon know that we really don't welcome what it does to us

    Best supermarket for low carb?

Hi Su! I would think it varies a little, but today I have probably had about 50 at the most. Just had my last meal of mixed salad leaves, sliced tomato and a whole avocado, drizzled with a little mayonnaise. Will no doubt nibble on a square of 90% Lindt while watching Strictly later :) Adam...

Has anyone used “No Guilt Bakes” products?

Are you sure these are low carb, as I looked up one recipe for a cheesecake, and it had 35g carbs in one serving! It also had a cup of sugar in the ingredient list. Maybe it's a different company to the one you discovered though?

    Morrisons' carby cheese

I agree with you on this, and often just cut off a chunk to eat with my fingers and a few nuts to accompany it

    Best supermarket for low carb?

Do you feel you really HAVE to have these , because it's surprising how soon you get along without them, and you pay so much more for them anyway? I did buy one seeded low carb loaf at the start of my change in eating two months ago, and it was 9 carbs per slice (from Asda) but I got a bit mean...

Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

5.2 this morning, which surprised me since I ate a massive evening meal last night! Mostly salad leaves, avocado, mushrooms, steamed veg (far too much) all topped with a beefburger!
