Is urinating small amounts a symptom?

This is interesting as before low carbing I would lose a lot of fluid, although never overnight. Over the almost two months of cutting carbs I seem to pass very little! So the opposite to you almost, but still strange!

Me too Billy! It's been with me right since I started low carbing almost two months ago, and yet I don't have a cold or anything. I have put it down to the changes taking place in my body right now x

    HBA1C 83 [emoji35]

Jax that was my breakfast today! A tablesp of porridge oats with two dessertsps of mixed Chia and Pumpkin seeds and 8 blueberries added, cooked in Almond milk and then laced with fresh cream. YUM! My bg went from 5.5 to 5.8 so barely a rise!

    What's happening

eee123, you are making the same mistake that I did which is to limit calories. I've only just learned what carbs are and what they do. I've taken that on board over this past couple of months and taken note of carbs in foods that I eat, and because of this have now lost almost all the weight I...

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

5.2 first thing, then 5.5 before breakfast and 5.8 two hrs after! Still amazed by these incredulous numbers since I've never hit 5's before these past two months. Got into a pair of size 12 skin tight jeggings this morning (easily) so another big surprise! Bought them two years ago and they...

    Carbs in baby corn?

Fair point you make there ianf0ster, and it makes sense. We are perhaps afraid that if we let slip just once by having higher carb then we risk losing control? Yes, it has happened to me in the past and (like very many of us) I've thought 'what the heck' and let go to enjoy what others around me...

    Carbs in baby corn?

This is EXACTLY my own way of thinking these days Buster. I really don't want to push my luck with 'iffy' foods and somehow I've managed to forget they exist!

"What have you eaten" Parallel Chat

Good Evening everyone :) Today I had my diabetic blood tests (at 10am) so only had a glass of water before going. It's only a four minute walk though, so I had some Greek yogurt with blueberries, pumpkin seeds and chia seeds added for my late breakfast. At 1pm I just had a small handful of...

    Just Delighted!

Well done on your improvements, but I would find that nurse confusing! I'm hoping you still continue to think about what you eat and stick to low carb. You've done so well and you won't want to suddenly go backward! Great job though!

Its all going to hell in a handcart

Terry, when we join this forum we have to 'unlearn' everything we thought was healthy and right for us, and then learn just what our bodies can cope with. One day (if you are like me) you get the lightbulb moment, try the suggestions offered, and then see and feel yourself getting better. It's...

T2 remission? What does the team think??

I agree with you zand, and would class it as 'great control' rather than remission
