Eating whole grains like oats may benefit adults with type 2 diabetes due to their potential glucose and cholesterol-lowering effects. The soluble fiber in oats may help hit blood sugar...

    HbA1c results

Well done you. Unfortunately I live in Germany and as I am in the grey area Pre diabetes and Type 2, using diet and fitness to keep a relative low HbA1c, we are not entitled to prescription for the test sticks. This cost me about 600 Euros (£520) per year.

Ive done that too. I also like to add it cold to some fresh beef tomatoes chunks. Add some Olive oil, salt and some Cucumber and blitz the lot. Fantastic Gaspacio for a summer evening snack. You can add some chilli and make a salsa from it and use some very thin roasted Flax seed chips to dip it up.

Roger That. I'm in Germany so don't get to see most of the food produced in UK anymore. Unless I get it sent over and the Customs take my bacon out of the cool packs, leave it 10 days in an uncooled state before sending it on to be thrown away as it has turned.

Will Birthday treats ruin my strong resolve?

People need to learn to take control of their condition and not let the condition take control of them. Otherwise we will be reduced to fully compliant robots. It ruins lives. However to do this, willpower is required. Without it there is no hope of having fun because one will not try to break...

They are meant to give a chocolate taste. It is actually a waste product. The husky bits after roasting. Fibrous but tastey. Stop working in Hundred grams. They are sprinkled on or in food pretty negligible amounts for our needs. I grind about a teaspoon full to put in a protein shake. 3g-5g...

Will Birthday treats ruin my strong resolve?

I spent 11.5 years on dialysis. Potassium and Phosphates were my enemy then. But I was told early on. Eat everything in safe quantities. It worked for me. That and a wholesome dose of will control. I wish you luck. PS. A piece of cake is a 30 minute exercise. A good trade off.
