After my off day on Monday the rest of the week has been in normal range so i don’t know what was happening on Monday, just one of those unexpected things i suppose, i’ve probably jinxed myself now and i’ll have another off day tomorrow.

Some days i just don’t understand what’s going on, my body must think i’ve been injecting glucose today instead of insulin as my blood sugars have been floating around 18. Hopefully get back on track tomorrow.

Same for me as well, very lucky to get the libre sensors on prescription but i have also asked if i can change to the libre 2 sensors as the lo alarm would be a big help to me as i rarely get lo warning signs anymore.

Hi everyone, it’s good to see that some of you are using half dose pens, i think i’m going to ask my doc if i can try them out as sometimes a full unit either way makes too much of a difference on my blood readings.

I feel you’re frustration but try not to get too down, i’m on Fiasp because it’s supposed to be the best insulin but i feel it does exactly the same as Novorapid and all the other types of different insulin i’ve been put on over the year’s. I’m sure you’ll soon get you’re head around it, chin...

I always have that Friday feeling as i don’t work Fridays, but so far today i have been doing other boring things like renewing passports in the hope we can use them later this year and also filled out the 2021 census. Anyway have a good weekend everyone.[emoji1360]

Hi hh1, hope you’re back doesn’t give you to much jip for long, that sort of thing normally happens to me as well, i’m definitely accident prone to say the least, lol I think it will help me a lot being able to chat to other type 1’s and maybe find out some useful tips along the way. Hi SueJB, i did post my question on a new thread and got a couple of responses which was good but i suppose i`ve just got to wait and see what my next appointment tells me about my eyes. Glad you like my my staffie, he`s not with me anymore but i like to use him as my profile pic`s.

    Diabetic Maculopathy

Thanks again for the replies, my initial thought was they wouldn’t wait 3 months if it was serious so hopefully it’s just a matter of monitoring it on a regular basis. My diabetic consultant has always been happy with my overall control, my last A1c was 6.8% and according to my Libre sensor it...

Hi Dark Horse, thanks for you’re reply. I have got another appointment in 3 months with the digital surveillance team who do my 12 monthly checks for further investigation. Not sure about my visual acuity and not sure if it’s in both eyes, i’ll obviously find out more on my next appointment...
