My carb ratio hasn't changed from MDI. it's 1:10. However when i did the calculation for it from the ' think like a pancreas ' book it worked out 1:11 so I figured I use that later as a fine tuner once I'm confident with the pump. So it's a good idea to get that fasting BG in the morning...

I've had the pump on since 11ish this morning. it wasn't too bad. Inset was painless and easy to use. But the filling of the cartridge, doing everything in correct order is gonna take some getting used to. It'll be like riding a bike soon. Feeling confident about it though.

How much do CGM cost per sensor if self funding, do you have to by them in packs or singles. Is it worth using them for say a month to get an insight into your control.

I always used tocrave Chinese food, but I agree it's never as nice as you want it to be, and you can feel the badness you ate for hours after. I do have a weakness for Indian food though. Naan breads in particular.
