    A rather shocking 8 this morning after a day of celebration, a late heavy-on-the-protein dinner and a very restless night's sleep.

    Wow! Thank you for sharing this - I feel a bit better about my score of 11 now! I also put it down to substantial and sudden weight loss but I was rather hoping it wold have settled down a bit by now. Maybe Im just too impatient.

    They do a cholesterol test with full breakdown at our local pharmacy, on request for £16!

    Mine was low, medium, medium which seems far more acceptable than high! I shan't be complacent though - I do need to make some dietary tweaks.

    I am still very much a learner re diabetes and there is so much contradictory information out there! It's hard to know what to believe or what to do for the best. Thank you as always for your input.
