New Years Eve on board a luxury liner and everyone's in full party mode, drinking, dancing and celebrating the fast approaching new year. One lady was dancing rather vigorously when her dentures flew out of her mouth, bounced on the deck and into the deep blue sea... Having ruined her new year...

We topped 30 degrees C today (4th Jan) which was a lot nicer than 42 degrees the last 2 days......Love to experience a NH Christmas complete with snow, ice etc! Santa's helpers get rather hot down here with their outfit and fake beard!!!!:)

Great advice, Scandichic!I was in the same boat of lowfat/lowcal or low carb and in the end low carb is more in sync with T2....(less carbs = less spikes!!) By the way, soon you will have to change your signature of":) I'm not fat - just easy to see!" to something else as no one will be able to...

This is a recent photo of me stranded with a broken down car. This was so embarrassing as I was a mechanical genius. Nobody knew what I actually did but I helped people...Lots of people. I was known for my creativity... .

The low part of this year was losing my mum in March...:(.....She was 92 and at least she died peacefully in her sleep...No pain, no suffering, no anguish..If I had a choice on how to depart this world, that's how I'd like to go....Believe this or not, guys, the highlight of this year is...

My thoughts and prayers go out to all victims of alcoholism...Seen too many lives destroyed by this disease....People who are violent and aggressive when drunk are sometimes (not all the time) the nicest, friendliest people when sober....Very sad!:(
