    Type 2 since 2012. Hi ! Good question and you should get many answers. I miss Chocolate and a sweet after dinner, I have a boring diet which is suposed to reverse my diabetes but it's not working as quick as I hope it would, so I battle on being a good boy.

    Hi to Choosy. There is a lot of good advice here and a BG meter is a good guide to help control your diet and I only bought one 6 months after being diagnose as the Nurse said I don't need one. Just to say it took six months for the effect of the change in diet to take effect on me.

    Sounds like you had a miss read. This weekend I've had silly numbers and it's all down to the hot weather. Always worth a retest wouldn't expect a rise from 2.1 to 13.5 in five minutes but then I don't dare touch Lucazade.
