Guys,
I've had laser a few years ago and have recently noticed what looks like new very small floaters or may be a small bleed, I've been able to get checked out because everywhere 'busy' and I need to arrange a time which I'm frantically trying to do.
IF this is actually a bleed am I allowed...
If so has it effected your BGL, directions say take 2 capsules before bed I did this last nigh went to bed on a 7 woke up at 12, is this normal? Apparently is supposed to be good for T1Ds.
Taken the dose again today, let's see what happens.
Hi all,
Thinking of travelling to Morocco over Easter, has anyone been or travelled post Covid if so what addional supplies have you taken apart from extra insulin, pins and testing kit.
My only fear is testing positive before I get on the plan back and being stuck in some nasty hotel and...
I've just got over it. My experiences are documented here:-

Update:
Hey guys I know some of you wanted an update on how I’m getting on.
So here’s quick rundown and my experience with Covid and T1 diabetes:
First few days (Didn’t actually know I had it)
Had a sore throat and some snivels (thought nothing of it as i never really get ill)
Blood sugars ok...
I was an avid gym goer like your self but since the lock down I've been training at home using TRX, battle rops etc 5-6 times week. Do miss the big weights tho. I may buy myself the set of adjustable dumbbells.
Update: Over the weekend C19 was confirmed positive. I've managed to stabilise my levels by injecting every 2-3 hours. Still feeling quite tired, and can't seem to shift this cough.
It looks like I may have C19, cough, headache, some shivers and most of all uncontrollably high sugar levels. I've sent off the test, let's see what happens.
IF you have had how did you manage it? I very rarely get any kinda illness that effects my blood sugar levels but this is a nightmare...
I will second what has been said here ^^^^ I do love a good whisky though, have recently discovered some nice Japanese ones which require no bolus etc.

Did anyone see this on the news last night. I did and thought it was a very accurate picture of what we have to go through emotionally and physically.
My levimer is already split. I tried another experiment last night which was to completely skip dinner so the last meal I has was 2pm, and guess what no 11pm rise. Woke up this morning as a 4.2 and STARVING!!!!
