Yes I suppose I never considered the actual risk to ourselves!! I used to give blood all the time but found it very annoying when I was diagnosed that I may not be able to donate.

Hi Harrysdad I changed from levemir to toujeo as the levemir was doing dang all for my dawn phenomenon. Toujeo lasts 36hrs so you dont really get drop off. Might be worth trying!

I was 27 when I was diagnosed and it came fairly quickly after having my first flu. It was an epic flu and I was so so ill and was told potentially that was the trigger. I am the first and only diabetic in my family

Hey there! Yes im a bit overwhelmed too i must admit. Seems completely unachievable! Hba1c was 8.9 as my basal needed adjusting but things have settled again now. I'll get the ball rolling at my next check up. Hope you get great support from your team [emoji4]

Hi guys. I am ready to start a family and wondered what way that works with my clinic. Do I let them know beforehand? Or do I wait until Im pregnant (if it happens!) Just not sure exactly what way to approach this as I am super nervous about managing myself whilst pregnant.
