What are early signs of Diabetes?

Usually things like excessive thirst, urination, recurrent infections or thrush along with dizzy spells and so on. Always better to get a doctor to do a blood test if you're worried.

Can anyone help shed some light on what's happening please!l?

As long as you're not spiking all over the shop and it was what I read from Jenny Ruhl where a majority of the damage starts to occur around that number not the 8.5 that is quoted in guidelines.

Can anyone help shed some light on what's happening please!l?

@Starfish18 It's something I suffer from as well, my levels have gone up in the morning probably due to stress but as long as you're not punching 7.8 and above in the face constantly then you're doing well by all accounts. Just keep at it and flush out all that glucose and try to relax a little...

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

@DCUKMod Ooooh I cannot blame you there, my Grandma on my Mum's side is gluten-free and so is one of my friends and that is a rough time. I think it's because I'm like three months in so the lingering cravings are still there but it passed and I loved my salad so I'm happy. The burgers were...

Family putting me down because I’m now diabetic

In the end that is their choice and you are making the right one, they're just putting themselves onto the express train to issues but you? You're finding just what kind of person you can be and that is wonderful. It's something everyone on here helped me to realise when I came here looking for...

    Sweeteners

Usually stevia here if I am drinking it black, still winding it down as much as I can sweetner wise but stevia seems to be the better of the options.

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Yep! We usually eat together hence why I am really only going to be OMAD at work so I can avoid my Gran worrying that I am starving myself. She understands but sometimes flips into grandparent mode. Speaking of which it’s been challenging but great, working for a small scale football club...

    Regular moderate exercise log

Said I would be back didn't I? Noticed my fasting sugars going up so going to counter that with some exercise and fasting. Not at the gym yet so doing HiiT training at home. 30 minutes in total including 5 minutes warm up, 20 minutes tabata training (ow my legs) and 5 minutes cool down...

Probably going to keep it to dinner time, usually too busy for lunch with the website admin at work so just going to skip it from now on and probably use the time to take a walk around the city. Thank you for the well wishes there too!

    Okay feeling like going OMAD

Thanks so much for the advice yet again, I am starting to think a 5:2 schedule might work for me, five days OMAD or only snacks at work and then lunch and dinner at the weekend. I'll just have to make sure to set up my meals properly so I don't miss out on anything at all. Might have to dive...

Hmmm I might have to do that, haven't seen a place on their site to register it though. All depends if my doctor will switch my prescription next week.

    Okay feeling like going OMAD

It's something I've honestly been thinking about is getting the balance right, honestly my body copes really well with veggie based carbs so it shouldn't be too much. Thanks for letting me know what I should expect! Thank you so much Gooner! Looking at ways of stabilising myself whilst sorting...

    Okay feeling like going OMAD

Been noticing lately that when I hit my evening meal I feel absolutely stuffed, even with the smallest amount eaten. Guessing that it might be worth moving over to that now? Any tips?
