Most gluten free products replace taste with sugar - best off not doing that if you can help it!

    Animas Vibe replacement

No pumps work with Libre or Dexcom in the UK, it can only be done through a phone in which case you can do closed loop pumping if you're willing to make it work. I strongly suggest you have a look at AndroidAPS or Looped if you want CGM which works with a pump, they outstrip medcrap by a mile.

    Animas Vibe replacement

The Tandem isn't available in Europe, sorry. The best option is G5 and xdrip which means extending lives far beyond intended like you currently do, it uses the same sensor as G4. I would strongly suggest the Dana pump personally but you need to look at it and decide how much you are willing to...

Disposing of test strips and lancets

No there aren't any rules, same as there aren't for plasters or similar. the trace of blood is actually tiny compared to sanitary towels etc You don't need to change the lancelet that often either, mine is lucky to be done once a month

Where can I get rid of unused pump supplies?

@Nicola M What supplies are they? its likely another pump user can use them (im always on the lookout for Inset II's) or if they are Medtronic the closed loop groups are always looking for them.

I agree with your inner eco warrior, I use these for Ketones as using one doesn't mean the pot is bad before I need them next.

    DKA

Get a ketone blood meter - abbott do them they are much more accurate than pee sticks

Is the cgm a constant needle?

Its not a needle no, its a tiny filament about the thickness of a human hair. Most are put on arms these days, I've been using them for 5 years and had plenty of really good (and not so good) sex.

    Tolerance?

Yes you can become intolerant of insulin over time so it basically acts like water. You cant really avoid it but just know it happens and that you might need to switch insulin's again in some time. You did nothing wrong and its just one of those things, don't stress.

Diabetes glucose monitors 'available to thousands more'

Its basically those who qualify for pumps already which makes sense really as its those who generally have more difficult to control D that the standard hard to control type.
