    Got my induction date!

Thank you @azure that's a good idea, I'm currently writing a list of things to pack so will add those to it :)

    Got my induction date!

As the title says, I've been given my induction date. I'm being induced on 6th April at 37 weeks. Can I hear your induction stories please? The good, the bad and the ugly! Very excited (it's all suddenly became real!) Claire x

    Is it me or..

Haha at least someone took it for how it was meant ;) It doesn't matter now, I don't feel like I can't post things in future I'll just be careful and try and look at all ways people can take it instead of just how I took it! It was just a joke that went wrong, nothing more and nothing less, no...

    Crispbakes

Not really unless you have a couple. I've always been told to take insulin for anything over 15g. Claire x

    Is it me or..

It is my post that you're all talking about and I asked for it to be removed. It was meant to be a laugh not to offend people and it wasn't heading in the right direction. In all fairness to myself it had been up for quite some time before people took offence to it and offending people was...

2.2! I'm not surprised you needed extra! What did it raise your bg to just out of interest? Claire x

    New! Still settling

[emoji23] I've been there a number of times!! 15g takes a LOT of restraint! Claire x

    New! Still settling

No worries! I think I was diabetic for years and years before someone told me that! It's hard to stop at 15g sometimes though, I especially struggle to follow this rule during night time hypos! It's a good little trick to follow though and it's stops those horrible rebound highs you get after...

    New! Still settling

No need for sugar throughout the day or a carby snack after :) 15g of carb every 15 mins until it comes back up again is how you should treat hypos. Lucozade is excellent and you can get the small cans of pop such as Coke/Sprite/Fanta which have 15g per can. You should have something like that...

    New! Still settling

Morning @chloegeek I'm 24 too and have had T1 for just under 20 years :) I'm new to this group too but have settled right in! I'm always around to chat (was in bed early last night though!) How are you controlling your diabetes at the moment? Claire x

    Good Morning

@Robinredbreast glad you found them! If anything goes missing in our house the rabbits hoard is always the first point of call [emoji23]

    Good Morning

Morning all! @Robinredbreast I hope your slippers turn up soon! I usually just have the one missing because my naughty rabbit has ran off with the other one! Claire x

    Doh!!!

@azure that's a good idea, I tend to fiddle about with it from week to week, my basal has already trebled on the pump and now I'm having to put it up again, it goes up around 10-30% every week and I find it easier (because I'm lazy) to just set a TBR!
  18. claire1991

    Doh!!!

It's not easy! It'll all be worth it in the end though :) (Won't be doing it again in a hurry!) Claire x

    Doh!!!

Morning guys! Feeling much better this morning :) I have a TBR of 180% running throughout the day because of my pregnancy and it normally times out before I go to bed because it's set for 12 hours. However, I had an infusion set and cartridge change yesterday evening so had to set it again so...

    Doh!!!

Forgot to turn my TBR off my pump before bed, 3:15am now and have been hypo for 45 mins :( That'll teach me! Claire x
