    Hyperglycemia after exercise

Hey! Thanks a lot for replying! I thought it was just me that had such problems with exercise - I, too, have these stages: normal Pre exercise, high after 1 hour and then about 4 hours later it starts to go down and since I usually exercise latter in the afternoon I'm getting hypos during the...

    Hyperglycemia after exercise

I usually eat a gluten free piece of bread, but I can try something else, maybe sweet potatoes, I don't know. What would it be good to try it out?

    Hyperglycemia after exercise

@chasC I just get a bit nervous about doing that because I tried a while ago, not eating and putting a low basal dose during and I got higher glycemias after the same. But I never tried doing it before the exercise!

Try to go to the settings option on the device to change to mmol/L, otherwise you'll have to divide by 18 every time :/

    Hyperglycemia after exercise

Hey guys! I'm a type 1 DM and I use the insulin pump and low carb diet. I started exercise for 2 weeks now and I'm having a problem with hyperglycemia after training, 1 hour after it gets around - 7 or 9. Usually I eat 15g of carbs right before the exercise and right when I finish my glycemic is...

I totally get you @Peppergirl sometimes I'm in my grumpy mood and I think abou the almost 14 years that I eat wrong. But we have to focus in the present, eat well, exercise and check what works for you. Hope you feel better! If not, tell me and we'll be grumpy for a little while and come back...

That's really awesome! I'm no cycling expert at all but I'm interest to do something like that in a foreseeing future! Gonna do some research about it and if I find something useful, I'll post it here! Good luck!!

Type 2 Hey - how long does a hypo last?

My hypos usually last around 40 minutes, even when my BG is already better. I fell like that also @Jo1884 for some while but except for eating something and taking a headache pill (that's common for me after hypos), I just try to lie down and wait until the feeling goes away.. but I hope you...

Type 1: My BG Increased Significantly

Nice! I already used them also a while ago. And you count carbs to take novorapid right? Because porridge is kind of a bomb of carbs and sometimes I have no idea how to measure it -so I find it very useful to have a kitchen scale to know exactly how many carbs I'm eating and take the right dose...
