How many carbs do you have a day?

Try chicken green pepper and black bean sauce as I find that's workable with a couple of level tablespoons of pilau rice and a similarly small quanitity of chow mein (**** those noodles) but I agree Chinese is far harder than Indian

How many carbs do you have a day?

mmmm curry... I usually buy a curry with a thick sauce then add a couple of onion bhajis, spinach and garlic bhaji or a mushroom bhajii. I'll eat no more than a couple of level tablespoons of pilau rice (pilau is fried rice and isn't as bad for levels as boiled). No Nan bread. If I'm really...

    Dave's Big Breakfast Experiment!

Theories as to why your FBG on day two was higher Dave? I'd also suggest you need to ensure the final choice is sustainable as you may find it gradually increases your overall BG's over a period of days. If you have low carbed for a while then if you're anything like me you can build up a...

    How different are we?

I agree entirely with what you've written that fundamentally everyone works in roughly the same way so the differences boil down to individual choices to a large extent however I disagree in the following case. If you are a T1 or T1.5 or a T2 with none or very little pancreatic function then...
