Low Residue/Low Fibre diet before colonoscopy?

Mayo is not on my list (so I suppose I better not have it (sad face)- I just never have chicken with no gravy or nothing. I think for the fish I might just drizzle a butter and squeezed lemon over it - or I am even thinking I could get cod or haddock from the chippie and remove all the batter...

Low Residue/Low Fibre diet before colonoscopy?

That is very similar to the list they have posted out to me but I have read that some do low residue/low fibre for 5/7 days before the procedure - did you just do it for the 2 days before or did you do 5 or 7 - can you remember? Also, do you have any ideas what I could add to the fish or...

Low Residue/Low Fibre diet before colonoscopy?

So, I am trying to put a shopping list together for this - I will probably eat more fish & chicken in the days before - only problem is I don't like plain foods - I don't think I could eat just plain white fish (so I might do it in a butter and squeezed lemon juice - any one any better...

    Colonoscopy

9 is a lot - thanks for the forewarning of the possible manhandling. Was the prep you were given sugar free (lime flavour I think) or just the usual ones?

    Colonoscopy

I should have asked re: the prep did yous have the sugar free one? or just the normal one? I queried this with the nurse but she said it wouldn't matter what prep I am given as the prep stuff wouldn't be inside me very long

    Colonoscopy

I agree - I think I will have enough to worry about before it, without bothering about low carb as well, so a few days before I will have a little white bread, mash and maybe other stuff - I doubt it will do me much harm x Thanks also for the personal advice as well, as I would have worried...
