It doesn't matter. The xDrip box captures the values sent out every 5 minutes from the transmitter - it by passes the Dexcom Receiver (or Vibe pump) & sends the data to your mobile phone. N.B. It doesn't work with the G5 (yet).

Hi Christian, Yes you leave the sensor in. Select "Stop Sensor" on the receiver (or wait for it to stop automatically), wait a few seconds then select "Start Sensor". You then wait 2 hours as you did when you actually inserted the sensor, & when prompted enter 2 blood test readings to calibrate.

Micro managing like that is a whole lot easier with CGM. Hope your Libre comes through soon!

Many people have. The fact that it's in a transparent box with all the components on view & a sensible explanation,seems to satisfy the security people. I've done a couple of flights with mine in my hand luggage which was scanned without comment.

I've just had a really frustrating 48 hours or so. Insulin shots that seem to do nothing, shots that did way more than I'd expect. Food that had no discernible effect or alternatively sent me soaring. Two nights of broken sleep which never helps. Then after lunch today I waited to see which way...

Can't help wondering if AT have made a mistake on their website. As I understand it there are 2 transmitters in a box in the USA. It's such a leap in costs I can't imagine many self funders moving from the G4.

My lot numbers are different too. I'm using the first from this box now. It seemed to take longer than usual to settle down, but is very good now.

I'd agree with most of what Noblehead says but I'd say that the overnight readings indicate that basal is about right so I'm not sure about the afternoon. It seems more likely that the lunch time ratio is too high? Of course it may be that day time basal requirements are lower than night time...
