    Tandem T-slim, Medtronic 670 and CGM's

I don't, but then I've never used any other type of pump. Some people say it looks "medical", which I understand but it doesn't bother me. It's not really a "loose connection". You tighten it up firmly & I've never had a problem with one coming undone.

    3 months Tandem Control IQ

Hi Chas, I began using xDrip & Nightscout a very long time ago & couldn't see any reason to move to the Dexcom app. Recently I started using Sleep mode, not just overnight, but also when I'm fairly inactive e.g. working on my computer. It works well for me. My breakfast is usually one a slice of...

    3 months Tandem Control IQ

Hi Chas, Looking very good. My report is from Nightscout. I use 4 to 10 simply because it seems to be the internationally accepted value for comparison purposes. It looks like you would have a lot of "100% in range" days using that parameter! Amazing!

    3 months Tandem Control IQ

I thought you might be interested in seeing some data from the last 3 months with Control IQ, Tandem's hybrid loop system. It took a while to get the settings "right" & I was already doing pretty well before Control IQ. The main improvement for me is the reduced mental "load". Yes I still think...

    Tandem T-slim, Medtronic 670 and CGM's

In most respects it's like any other pump. It is smaller than most & has a a clear colour touch screen. Hopefully the NHS will eventually fund a compatible CGM whether that is Dexcom or Libre. The Tandem has had 2 firmware updates already & it can be updated in the future.

    Tandem T-slim, Medtronic 670 and CGM's

I love my Tandem t:slim. Combined with a Dexcom G6 the Control IQ is a true hybrid closed loop system & after some hard work setting it up, I find it has reduced my diabetes work load immensely, especially overnight. As you say it should eventually work with a Libre (3?) To my mind, if you can...

    Ypsopump priming/reviews needed

Interesting. From my limited conversations with people & looking at this forum, they seemed to at least have had an alternative of a tubeless pump. As you say it must vary by region. Postcode lottery in action.

    Ypsopump priming/reviews needed

I don't know where you are located but if you are under the NHS I would question the fact that it has to be one the hospital chooses. Most people seem to get some kind of choice. Also a pump with such a small reservoir doesn't sound suitable for you. Mine has a 300ml cartridge & easily lasts 3...

    My new T-Slim™️ Insulin pump

@Jed.s That's great news. I've been using the t:slim for about 18 months & I love it. I was on injections before that & as you say a site change every 3 days is a lot easier than the 8 to 10 injections a day that I was doing. Amazing how quickly 3 days seems to come around though.. never happy...

    Correction Dose Negative Number

I don't know - but it looks confusing! My Tandem pump will use such values in a bolus calculation but it's displayed as insulin on board. Or perhaps I'm misunderstanding what it means on the Insight?

    Control IQ overnight

Last night (above) was particularly good. I'm still experimenting & for some reason my post meal readings are spiking more than they were a couple of weeks ago. This is the last week:

    Control IQ overnight

Using Control IQ, overnight blood sugars are really boring. So boring that I have slept straight through quite often lately. A very rare event over the last quarter of a century or so.

    Dexcom CGM

This is a very old post. Most people do have to self fund Dexcoms.

t:slim X2 Control IQ update is nearly ready.

Very happy with it, especially the overnight results in sleep mode. Still working on how best to use exercise mode, but getting there.

    Control IQ overnight

I've had this for a few days now & I'm loving the fact that I've woken up each morning at around 6. If I start the night a bit high, or a bit low, it takes 2 or 3 hours to make the adjustment, but then stays flat in the 6's. Very importantly I know nothing about it until I wake up in the...

T-slim for imminent Upgrade or stick with Minimed?

I assume you put the sensor code in? I have occasionally been asked for a calibrations so it's not unknown, just not usual. I haven't had any real problems, but whenever I had questions they responded quickly. Tandem operate through Air Liquide in this country. I'm not sure whether the help line...

T-slim for imminent Upgrade or stick with Minimed?

No, it's not usual! The first 12 hours or so can sometimes be a bit erratic but once it settles down it's great. I try not to calibrate during this period, in fact I don't usually calibrate at all unless I restart a sensor.

T-slim for imminent Upgrade or stick with Minimed?

@LizLola I've never used a Minimed. The t:slim is my first pump. I've had the X2 for about 15 months. During that time it's had 2 updates. First to Basal IQ which suspended insulin delivery if it predicted I would go low. This was a big step forward. Second came Control IQ a week or so ago. I'm...
