What's the lowest hypo value you're ever had?

Interesting topic - like others have said incl @Snapsy - different feelings sometimes with different numbers. My lowest was in Jan - 1.6 which had plummeted down v fast. Was still able to grab some juice & gulp it down but felt horrid. At other times a 3.3 has felt horrid & I've been shaky &...

    HBA1C criteria

Hi @Peppergirl - I agree with what others have posted. My HBA1C wasn't too bad & I got a pump last April. My HBA1C is now lower & I have far fewer hypos. Good luck.

    Questions???? Start Insight tomorrow

Hi @Rnr1975 - I have an insurance policy for mine. Insurance 4 insulin pumps. It was recommended to me on the pump course. I swim twice a week & also just unclip it & pop in locker - no probs. Hope all goes well.

    Insight error - help!

Thanks @Gaz-M - Roche were excellent & are sending me one today. My DSN has given me the expert meter today which is also greatly reassuring. Roche had said if she didn't have 1 they'd send me 1. Really efficient all round [emoji106]. Thanks

    Insight error - help!

Hi @Gaz-M - thank you, that's reassuring that it was fairly quick. No I don't have a spare Accu Chek expert meter - should I have? I will email my DSN now as she is pretty good at checking emails and ring Roche first thing! Thanks for your reply.

    Insight error - help!

Hi - has anyone had the E57 error pop up repeatedly on the Insight handset? I think I've tried turning it off & on 20 times now. Manually did my dinner insulin & found an old meter. I've checked the manual & taken out the battery as suggested, still to no avail! Has anyone had any experience of...

    Advice please re Basal testing

Agree with @catapillar - best way really is finger pricking every 2 hours & prob best to fine tune it more once on the pump. Hope all goes well.

Dual wave rates for high fat, high carb meals?

Hi @London36_ - how did you get on? I don't have a magic formula as such but since getting the pump I've had fish n chips 3x. I had a small cod & around 1/2 portion small chips. I assumed 35g cho each time & luckily my sugars have been in range afterwards. That may not work for you but that's...

    Started on the insight today!

Sorry guys - I misunderstood earlier. I was thinking about the little cannula that you attach wth the link assist. I do this every 2-3 days without fiddling with tubing & just click it back in. I agree if you're changing whole thing you need to fill. Doh [emoji51][emoji51]

    Started on the insight today!

Hi @Claire007 - if it's the cannula only you just change it & clip it back in without telling the pump anything. If you're changing the whole infusion set you would need to fill it. Hope that makes sense. You know when you question yourself - that's tight isn't it @Snapsy? [emoji51] Hope that's...
