When removing the needle from my breakfast insulin injection, I noticed a couple of drops of blood trickle down my midriff. Would the insulin have been lost amongst the blood?

I am T2 on mets and insulin. I have trouble controlling my bloods and have night time hypos. I do my best to manage my life. However, some days I wake up and feel so very low. It usually only lasts a few days then my mood lifts. What brings on this depression, when life seems just too much effort?

    High BP query

I am T2. As well as taking Mets and insulin I take Candesartan for my high BP. It wasn't really helping so I now take Amlopidine as well. There was an improvement in my readings. However in the 7 weeks I have been taking the new pill, my weight has increased by 3lb. I watch my weight as I am...

    Memory prod!

Over the past month I have forgotten a couple of times to take my bed time long lasting insulin, meaning my BG readings are too high all the following day. Has any one got a good way to remind myself to inject? Thanks

    Hard to understand

I take insulin and Mets. Before breskfast, my BG was 6. I had one weetabix with small splash of milk, then one slice brown bread with marmalade. I took 6units of insulin and one Met. Two hours later I took a BG reading and it was 17. How could it go so high?

    Substitute for bread

I love toast and marmalade for breakfast. If I give upbread, would Ryvita with marmalade be a reasonable substitute? I would find life very hard without marmalade.
