    COVID jab

Last year I hydrated a lot before my covid booster and it was a breeze.I had zero reaction. I forgot to do that yesterday and last night was rather rough. I felt unwell and have the sorest arm yet. I still feel unwell….resting the rest of the day. My BG is running a little high. I’m glad I...

    COVID jab

I got the Moderna booster today. Got the flu vaccine last week. I got post covid syndrome last year, after a relatively mild case of covid. Just got smell/taste back a couple of months ago. Some symptoms linger. Sorry, just realized this is type 2 thread…..

Did you find any remedies for your exercise hypo issue? I just saw this and thought I’d chime in. I used to have hypo incidences with exercise on a regula basis. Earlier this year, i switched to a Medtronic 780 wifh G4 cgm. I stay in the Smart Guard mode, which provides insulin up to every 5...

    Diabetic feet

Oh, then please check the B6 asap. My neurologist was very cautionary about it causing neuropathy symptoms. He said it’s usually reversible though. Hopefully, your doctor can figure it out, if that’s the case. When my symptoms started, I saw my first neurologist, who did a lot of tests and...

    Weekly weigh in - Fridays

I’m the same this week and I’m not alarmed. I have stayed the course and even bought 2 new dresses for my nephew’s wedding. I like the way they fit and I’m feeling healthy overall. I’m increasing my strength training and feel stronger! I’ll continue with my plan next week and expect I’ll...

    Diabetic feet

I’ve read that neuropathy occurs in people who don’t have diabetes. Also, can be caused by vitamin deficiencies, autoimmune disorders, spinal conditions, viruses, etc. My neurologist believes mine is from B12 deficiency. I also have post covid syndrome and Type I diabetes. Since starting...

    Diabetic feet

Did you check vitamin B levels before you took them? I ask because I was diagnosed with B12 deficiency that was causing some symptoms. Neurologist has me on a daily, large sublingual dose. AND, he had my B6 tested because too much B6 can cause significant damage including neuropathy symptoms...

    Fiasp insulin

Has anyone used Aspart in their pump? I had to switch to it from Novolog a few weeks ago and my prior excellent TIR of over 80%, frequently 100% TIR, has plummeted. It’s supposedly the generic for Novolog, but what else would explain it? Nothing else changed. Idk…..

    Weekly weigh in - Fridays

I hope that happens with me. I told my primary about how when I sit or lay in certain surfaces, it feels like something nudging my tailbone. Think I mentioned it before. He examined it. He says things will settle down. Hope so. I’m also still concerned that my limbs are too thin. I need more...

Oh, of course. Now I see it. That’s quite impressive! You are very close indeed! i’m 6 pounds away! I think not posting weight is a personal decision and I haven’t done it either. But I might when I reach my goal. Idk….mulling it over. I actually started wondering if I would have enough...

Yes! i go to 2 different gyms since I’m normally at my weekend house on weekends and the gym there has a true Stairmaster. It’s quite different from the one at my other gym. They both really work your body though. It’s helping with my legs and butt. Those have always been my tough spots. I...

    Weekly weigh in - Fridays

I am thrilled to be down 2 more pounds this week! I can barely believe it. I think I know why though. I increased my exercise and cut some calories too. I didn’t realize that it mattered so much. I started skipping lunch again. I guess that works for me. On the downside, my extra exercise has...
