What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Sound like a bad sensor, you did the right thing requesting a new one! For placement is quite a trail and individual. I only occasionally wear the sensor on the underneath of my arm. I used to end up lying on it and getting compression lows in the night!! I’m off label for l placement. I use...

    The better pump

I can only speak of Omnipod, have been on it since October and it’s great. I do not use a lot of insulin as very insulin sensitive so the capacity is not an issue. For me also the customer support has to be good and Uk Insulet support has been great, any problematic pods have been changed...

Nice Hba1c for a type 1. I’m also a type 1 and my last Hba1c was 39 like you no hypo’s but I’m not really low carb, I’ve just really nailed my ratios and my trick is i basically weigh everything when possible[emoji106]

    Closed loop system

I’m on Omnipod 5 and Dexcom G6. When ever I put on a new sensor, I always put Omnipod into manual mode and wait for the CGM readings to become stable before going back into automatic made. If I have rouge readings, before doing anything I confirm with a finger prick test. I’ve never had a new...

Omnipod, not too sure if it is an issue, but seems like an issue!

I’m on Omnipod and my favourite location is actually the top side of the thigh, Dexcom on lower stomach same side. I do a lot of Hiking and never find the thigh a problem. I do use over patches on the Omnipod and never have an issue.

Morning all a 5.6 this morning, have a Hba1c test in 2 weeks time. Expecting to be around the 38 -40 mark. Let’s see as a type 1 it’s a constant juggling act. I’ve worked away a lot so constantly guessing carb counts !!!
