I don't include any carbs for coffee on its own...

the milk....I like it milky.....but its likely my calculation rounded up, just to help the insulin along....;)...and its my own item I made as opposed to one selected from a list...

I find it does the job.....but I am not actively on a low carb diet..... Todays input so far...

does the tea have milk or cream in it.....the cream has carbs obviously...... you should definitely double check the entries you are using as the database is partially user built.....

you need what you need I suppose..... does the pump not have a maximum bolus...? I think some settings need tweaked to get a 30 unit bolus... what's your largest basal rate out of curiosity...?

When I hear blood count I think about the number of blood cells...... new blood cells are made and old ones are disposed off, so it might have something to do with that..... but I am just making an educated guess......it will be fine though......

I change it when it becomes sore or blunt.......which is against advice but my fingers are still soft....;)

How much insulin is going in when you bolus.....? The way the pump delivers the insulin allows for much better and efficient absorption, so it shouldn't, under normal circumstances, be gathering at the cannula site....

I suppose it just depends on whether weight is an issue......some folk who exercise want to avoid taking on carbs and so would favour reduction in insulin, but everyone has different needs and levels of intensity where the physical activity is concerned...

After doing DAFNE and realty getting in to it, it was me who coming in to appointments and telling them what was going on and how I planned to tackle it..... So there wasn't anything for them to do........they obviously keep on aye on my BP meds and look for cholesterol issues etc...but apart...

The only person I know is my brother, who has been on it for years and has been diabetic since the age of 2 [1985]..... its not the best insulin for those who like some culinary flexibility......which for my brother is important as he loves his food...... his most recent HbA1c was 8.2% [66]...

If you can get reassurance that the redness isn't causing any damage or discomfort then it might not be a big issue..... where are you using currently.... I know that I almost always have a mark when its time to rip the old one out....;)... I would think going back to injections is extreme...

Is a long lasting, once a day insulin, really the best and most flexible option for someone who is physically active and may require a reduction in basal often....?
