    It no doubt does effect our libido the old diabetes...... I know that I have very obvious drops in libido but it does go back up again and I can walk about for weeks like a dog on heat.... I personally have other factors though to consider like long days at work and two young kids and my wife...

    While your testing the basal, carb free meals is the best...... its quite important to get that basal dose sorted as quick as you can because you can then tackle the meal time spiking and fluctuations...

    Likely just down the time your legs are inactive overnight is why its worst in the morning.... I don't have any experience with neuropathy yet so cant advice unfortunately....:(

    I was on more basal when injecting........now probably less basal due to the carbs I shovel in.....;) everyone is different..... getting the basal right is most important in my book, so adjust that up or down accurately as you can...

    I wouldn't know how to self fund the pump personally, but the pump manufacturers are Medtronic, Animas, Omnipod, Cellnovo and likely a few more less known brands.... is NHS funding not an option...?

    I think if you are going to come off it then you are doing so for a reason, so its good your doing what you think is right, so don't beat yourself up about it.... there could be many reasons people need a break and its not that uncommon..... you will know pretty quickly whether the break was...

    For me, rotating injections sites was always on top of the priority list, as getting lumps is unsightly but more important, bad years down the line...;)
