Hi folks yet another question sorry to bother you all again but can high sugar cause a dry mouth more lips than mouth and give u a funny taste in mouth ever since diagnosis I panic with different things even if it is not connected to diabetes

Mine was overactive for years then it decided to go underactive

Hi brownie 1993 I was also diagnosed last June I am on 22 of lantus before bed I was told by diabetic nurse as long as levels are 10 or 11 at night that's fine but on those levels I hypo thru night so find I have to take mine a bit higher like u I also find that I am always hungry between meals...

I was diagnosed 10 months ago I had severe thirst over night went docs in morning they ran tests and said I was type 2 four days later was being constantly sick ended up in hospital on drips for 5 days then they said I was type 1 came as massive shock still trying to get my head round it
