    Alli is orlistat, the stuf you get on prescription is stronger than the Alli that you can buy. I have been on it for a while now and have lost about 12kg.     weight gain.

    I have a massive weight problem and over the years the more weight I have put on the more insulin i need the more weight I put on................... Finally getting to grips with it now (fingers crossed) Lorna

    Syringes

    I no longer get syringes on prescription but I much, much prefer them to the pens. When I was able to get them I used to use them to draw the insulin out of the vials for the pen! I found them much more accurate and never lost any insulin at the end of injection, I would go back to syringes...

    To be honest with you, i would try and get those levels down, if I was at 11 I would feel quite rough, I like to be between 4.5 and 6 Lorna

    I would say that 10 is high to go to bed on, I tend to go to bed between 5-6 and wake up with 8-10 Lorna

    Re: Disability Lving Allowance. I'm confused :? Is it just parents of children with typ1 one who can claim this allowance or can all adult type 1's claim it as well? I dont consider myself disabled Lorna

    when i first passed my driving test many years ago the insurance was loaded then came the Disability Discrimination act and insurance companies are no longer allowed to load your premium. you must tell them and you must inform Swansea, you will only get a 3 year licence but it is pretty hassle...
