    I have neuropathy in my left leg the one I have just had a hip replacement on. I went to the pain clinic for a year before the op and they told me I had 2 pains in my leg my hip and neuropathic pain from damaged nerves. Now I have had the hip done the pain I have is sharp pins and needles...

    I stayed at the same practice just changed the doctor I was registered with. It's quite a big practice about 8 doctors so you can change to whoever you think suits you better .

    I agree with Kat for every good doctor there's seems to be a bad one it's the luck of the draw who you get . I spent the last five years being fobbed off by my doctor here in Spain when I complained of pain in my leg and groin. He said it was down to me having a stroke on that side 3 years ago...

    Out early this morning to catch the bank before it got too busy . Then walked on to our favorite cafe for a coffee. Now waiting for dog groomer to give Freddie ( dog on my avatar) his first haircut in 8 years ! Will walk dogs later when cooler. Pain in hip definitely better when I use my crutch...

    Feel like I'm going off my head ! Feel like a caged animal hate being like this dependent on my other half to take me shopping etc . I know it's early days and I have been a bit naughty not using my crutches as much as I should so today have persevered with them and the pain is a bit better .

    Thanks for your good wishes. All hip and knee replacement operations are done by epidural whether diabetic or not . My sister in Uk has just had a knee replacement under epidural in UK x
