    On the packagaing it says in of which sugars it says only 0.6g of sugar so i dont think it should give much of a spike. I need to have a few words with my endo nurses when they next phone i was to told to keep a low carb diet and keep a limit of 130g max but i eat way less than that anyway...

    Off the insulin

    Happy that i have made a small amount of progress and able to manage diabetes with just the metformin and dieting alone. We will get there soon and i still have hope that i can fight this with the will of God!

    Anyone struggle with constipation and any advice you can give? I feel like ever since i started metformin ive been getting these issues with my bowel movements but the endo nurses said that consitipation is not a side effect of it. What else could it be???     Weetabix

    I dont test 2 hours after i test when its before lunch time so about 4 hours after. Does that mean weetabix is generally bad then because its something that i have regularly. All goods should go up and back down once you eat the surely.

    Normally when i have my weetabix every morning it has little effect on me. Once i had weetabix with a bs of 6.7 and then tested before lunch at 5.5.     It was an antibody test and was told to keep a low carb diet. Luckily my hospital is one of the top ones in the UK so the endo nurses offer plenty of support.
