    Just a word of caution. Slimming clubs are in no way qualified to advise T2 on diet. I would check back here to be sure. If you are using a meter to check your levels before and after eating, it will give you an independent verdict on what you just ate.

    You should test before eating and 2 hours after the first bite. You are looking for a rise of no more than 2. The fasting number is the last to come down and can be ignored for now.

    Feeling rubbish with sinusitis and increasing your carbs are both going to raise your blood glucose. Hang in there, ride it out until you feel better. It's annoying but try not to stress over it.
