My pump is not uncomfortable at all!! As long as you put it in fat and not in your muscle. When you go to sleep at night, try and make the tubing under your clothing so it doesn't wrap around you in your sleep. Hope this helps.

Like @Llinz04 said, eating good foods helps control your glucose. Once your number level out and are more consistant, you can eat more of the foods you are used to. When I was diagnosed, I had to get salads and VERY healthy and picky foods. You probably don't need to go that far, but still...

When as first diagnosed, I was not in a good place and just didn't want to deal with this disease, but I told myself the good things about the disease and what good things could happen and I kept going.

(I have Tandem t:slim G4 Insulin pump, so think about that when reading this) In my opinion, I think there are so many good things about getting a pump rather than injections because first, you don't have to poke your self as much and you can just enter in the amount of insulin you need to take...

I have something on my tubing that looked like that. I thought it was an air bubble, but it was just a mark that was just a mark where the tubing bent or folded a little bit. Hope this helps. : )
