Gone back down to extremely low carbs. - less than 10g per day. BG is down around 6 and stable. - At least it is once the fasting spike (11- 14) wears off. I feel ****. :( Sick and dizzy, aching all over and so tired! :( :( Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

    Yoghurt and milk

I've seen discussions about yogurt a few times and no one mentions Alpro (is that the right spelling?). The natural one has 2.6g carbs per 100g. - is that ok or is it really evil for some reason and I didn't know? Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

    Not sure what's going on.

Hi guys, I'm eating properly (for me) - very low carb, as I did for the first two and a half months after diagnosis. I did go off the rails for a few weeks over the summer, but all has been well, eating wise, for the last month or so. I lost two and a half stone in immediately after...

HOW MUCH FRUIT IS TOO MUCH

Apples appear to be lowering my blood sugar. That can't be right, can it?? My readings are all over the place at the moment. Don't know why. Morning reading was 12.6, pre lunch was 7.8. Lunch was a yellow pepper, about an ounce of cheese and an apple. Three and a half hours later, it was 5.1. -...

    Movies,

Woman in Black is based on the long running West End play, sorry, can't remember who wrote it, and is Definitely a ghost story. - Not a blood and gore horror film, it's quiet and dark, and, in my quaking mind, WAY scarier! - it has Daniel Radcliffe in it. His reviews were mixed, but I think...

    Movies,

    - what gets me is that I only watched it because my nephews said it was good - they were eight and eleven at the time! They watched it at a sleep over, my sister-in-law went nuts when she found out! ( - after I'd watched it and mentioned it to her!!) - the play was on at a theatre around the...

    Assistance needed?

I think diabetes is linked to a lot more things than people currently realise. - did you see the link that was floating around, to a clip of an American doctor talking about the discussions they are starting to have stateside? About diabetes - and quite a few other things - being a symptom of an...
