    Type 1 Opinions please (needles)

I was switched to tricare needles as they are cheaper. However it was the 6mm ones but I requested they changed them to 4mm. They are better. I still think the BD needles are the best though.

    Podiatry Concerns

I have an appointment with a podiatrist every 4 weeks privately, but it only costs me £10 every time she visits so I am obviously getting a bargain. She cuts my toenails, removes hard skin etc moisturises my feet and inspects my feet for any damage. Brilliant service.

I had a lovely one last week. The problem was I couldn't decide what to do first! Should I go make a coffee with cream and eat something or should I take the gluco juice first. Managed to text husband and he told me to take the juice first! Sometimes you just can't decide which is what I find a...

    Needle size

I was originally on 12mm needles and gradually reduced sizes from there till now I am using 4mm. I found the longer needles quite often bled on injection sites and then a lovely bruise would appear! The 4mm, fingers crossed, seem to be fine. I think sometimes if you are overweight the doctors...
