Hi Julia. I keep a monthly spreadsheet of my readings and take them to my consultant every 3 months.

4.9 before bed & 4.9 @ 6 am [checked it twice to make sure in the morning]

Minimum 4 times a day. first thing in the morning, Lunch, Tea and before bed. If I am driving I test an hour before. Record all readings on spreadsheet and take to the hospital when I have an appointment with my Diabetic doctor.

Is anyone else experiencing needles that do not tighten properly onto their pen. I have had more and more that just click and when I take the cover off they are not tight. Apidra and lantus pens. :(

I am on Lantus and do experience the "sting" some times. Never had a pain. I always make sure the Lantus is at room temperature. I always inject at the top of my thigh.
