Possibly the prescriber wrongly assumed that the gentleman no longer drives. My dad had a mini stroke recently and medical staff just assumed he no longer drove. I think do you drive should be a standard question in circumstances like this regardless of age.

I did try the ginger version of diet Coca Cola but do prefer Feisty Cherry on a hot day. Usually just drink water these days as I don't do hot drinks. I get my husband to look for them in the smaller bottles otherwise the fizz goes before I get round to finishing the larger bottles.

Hi. Maybe take a few of the concentrated sugar free Robinson's squeezy bottles with you. I always take one in hand luggage and fill up a water bottle airside. Unless in a sealed bottle it can be a good idea to test a drink really is sugar free.
