    L: Low carb bagel with turkey, Red Leicester and bacon D: Just a bowl of tuna mayonnaise and melted cheese (weird I know lol). Snacks: Applewood smoked cheese mini, Adonis blondie, Skyr Light and Free raspberry.

    Down to 5.4 as of 6pm so in total, 21 hours of fasting today. 6pm seems to be my 'optimum' FBG so I might consistently start eating at 6pm to avoid eating too many carbs in one sitting and to hopefully avoid liver dumps in the evening.

    For me it's finding foods that have the familiar crunch and crackle of things like crisps, chips, a baguette etc... I'm a very sensory eater and these are things I miss the most! Lots of nice substitutes, but nothing has quite matched up to it yet.

    Hello all! 24 hour fast today so only one meal this evening. D: Sweet gem lettuce 'wraps' filled with brie, Mattessons sausage, chicken chunks and mayonnaise. Quest bar and Cadbury's Highlights with cream for 'dessert'!

    19 hours into 24 hours fast, FBG now down to 5.3 which is the lowest figure I've seen in two weeks! Much happier with that and still 5 hours to go until food. Clearly I need to do more 24 hour fasts.

    I don't find them to be too dry but I usually always have a small smear of butter with them. If you freeze them on the day you get them and then defrost one for an hour or so in the fridge they're usually soft. They don't have the characteristic chew of a bagel but I think that's to be expected...
