6.3 when I got up at 6.30am, 5.3 an hour after training. That’s better.

Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

7.7 this morning around 7.15. Didn't train yesterday (though did do my first ever yoga class which was predictably unpleasant) and ate most of my days carbs in the evening. Regardless, I don't like this upward creep.

    Exercise

I got addicted to things like HIIT and Tabata training after being diagnosed. Doing these as part of a group has become really enjoyable for me. Have taken up yoga this year too.

Sorry to take so long to reply, still reeling from Villa result. High intensity exercise, tested about half an hour after second session, after two mile walk home. I note that many on here get 4s, and consider 5s on the high side. I don’t remeber the last time i tested below 5. I had a good...

    2018/19 Football Season

Bah, medium schlep to WBA to see Wigan fall at the first hurdle in the Cup. Thankfully the gearbox waited until I got home before going kaput. Sugar levels 87 gazillion. Glad to see my bed I was.

How can I get my partner to help ?

That was my thought too. Its a lot easier for me to adjust my own attitudes than to adjust other people's behaviour. If I set myself a goal of trying to get someone else to behave in a way that suits me, I'm setting myself up for disappointment - quite apart from the question of "do I have the...

    Regular moderate exercise log

Had a lovely festive season, managed to train a reasonable number of days but I'm missing my circuit training and bootcamp sessions - its so much easier when someone else tells me what to do! They start again tomorrow so it'll be a gym cycle and kettlebell session on my lonesome again today.. :)

Rushed out house to train at 7.30am so didn't remember to test until 2 hours after my post exercise sausage mushrooms eggs and bacon when it was 5.3. Does that count? I'm counting it.

Like mine you mean Jim? 8.0 this morning, how has that come about I wonder...:angelic: Being one of life’s optimists I’m taking from that that the actions I take through the year - exercise and carbs less than 100g - are now confirmed as WORKING!
