    On the box of my Metformin it says to have the pill with or after food. I think it was the same for the Gliclazide. I think it is better if you have your pills just after you have breakfast.

    I would not be able to spend all day without eating anything. I am trying to low carb. To be honest I am feeling better now that I am not actually calculating every single carb I eat. I know what is high carb or not, so I am not having any bread, pasta, potatoes etc... I have had a mini wrap...

    I am getting confused by my readings as well...I am trying to see what food is affecting me or not. I think I cannot find a trend because I am trying to do some exercise and then eat relatively close to it...so i test before eating (with still exercise affecting it??) and then testing 2hrs after...

    Wow that is great!!! did you lose all that weight through low carbing? I just started low carbing and am pleased to say this week i lost 3.6lbs.... next weigh in will be tricky as i have two meals out between now and then!

    Easter

    I have an easter egg in my drawer at work - courtesy of our manager.....not sure what to do with it...probably share it with boyfriend but he is not too fussed about chocolate. Last year i gave him a chocolate bunny which was in the fridge for months....unacceptable!!!!!

    Hi Good luck with quitting smoking..i have not been 9 months smoke free. I would just advise you to make sure you have a plan of action to deal with being smoking free. Unfortunately I started eating much more and the wrong things after I quit. 9 months on my diabetes is out of control...
