Hi there, it's so very sad to hear that you having a "vent" on here has led to having a horrible experience. I did read through some of the comments on your original post but gave up as people got more and more heated, ridiculous really. Hopefully these lovely voices of reason on this...

Thanks so much for commenting. I have not really heard of the hydrodialation procedure before this post. Like you I'm not a good surgery candidate due to my heart and blood thinners so when i get my appointment at the hospital I'll ask more about that. Really hope the physio and procedure work...

CGM is the most effective method for monitoring and treating diabetes

Totally agree with the use of CGM for T1's. I've always thought it would revolutionise my own personal BG control. Haven't got hold of one yet though [emoji53]. I so want one, even moreso looking at your stats.

    Type 1: Prescription fine

Just found this thread. Like a lot of you I've noticed an increase in people saying they've been fined for not having a valid exemption certificate [emoji47]. I was diagnosed in 1975 and didn't realise until this year that you actually needed one, i just used to tick the "medical exempt" part of...

    Type 1 and Frozen Shoulders

Well @MrBrightside physio's would tell you yes. They would give you a specific set of exercises (such as walking you're fingers up the wall, etc). There are other articles out there on the net that disagree with that. From my own personal experience (of over 4 years my right being frozen and 1...

No it was the cardiologist!!! Guess we get used to hearing it don't we sadly. Well i think i am flourishing and I'm determined to stay that way as my only child leaves school on Friday then goes on to college in Sept (he wants to be a nurse) and I'm sticking around to see him become an SRN and...
