    Coming off pump for a couple of days

    I just came off pump to go away the hospital told me to take the pump off when i take my long acting insulin Toujeo then when i next eat use my humalog pen. I took a couple of days to get the right dose.

    Have a look at the medtronic i think its a 640 this has a cgm that will stop insulin delivery when it detects your sugars are going low and restarts when they reach a set level i was offered this it looks really good

    Hi you can drive a vehicle upto 3.5 tons ladened on your car lic you need to inform DVLA that you are an insulin diabetic and your insurance company hope this helps xx

    Sorry you are having a tuff time at the moment,i don't think this is the best time for you to start on a pump as you need to give your time and energy to your exams. Speak to your DSN and see if you can go back to injections until your exams are finished and then you'll have time to concentrate...

    I have been on my Omnipod 6 months i love it. I chose the pump as i did not want one that was tethered, i find it easy to use.and like i can wear it on my arms and tummy, pump change is easy usually takes me about 5 mins which is great. Good luck I'm sure u will love it.

    Funding and changing hospitals

    I asked to change the hospital i was at because they did not do the pump i wanted, i spoke to my consultant and he contacted the other hospital who were happy for me to move over to them. Good Luck
