    Metformin not working

    Hi. Been on metformin for 6 years and blood sugar has been fine.Around 5.0 I am 74 and in the last six months despite increasing dose of metformin,it has gone up to 6.8.Does it stop working or is it just age related.?

    Red dry soles of the feet

    Hi. I have had type 2 for 6 yrs now and it is well under control. Metformin twice daily.For the last year I have had red and dry soles of my feet.
