    Will I need insulin eventually?

On Semaglutide and blood sugars very well controlled on it. Can’t see me being able to come off it due to not changing to low carb diet. Try to exercise as much as possible. And healthy weight. I’ve read most diabetics will need insulin after 10/15 years. Is this true?

    What to expect?

Looking at libre my levels spike up and down throughout the day and night. They never go beyond 8/9 but they are still going up and down. Is this normal? I’m hoping to come off Semaglutide soon.

    Keep getting spikes

They look significant spikes on the libre. I eat carbs but not a huge amount but there’s still big spikes after eating. Does this mean my diabetes is not well controlled? Thanks

    Fasting blood sugars

Hi, I have a libre and it shows my fasting levels are around 5.6. I have been taking Ozempic for a year. I’m also getting hypos after eating meals. Do you think I’ll be able to come off Ozempic anytime soon? Thanks for your input.

    Going up to 8mmol/L

Not sure if you write it as 8mmol/L but anyway…..if you go up to an 8 and never go over after eating is this good. I know there is room for improvement like cutting down on cereal bars, porridge, chips…but if 8 isn’t too bad I thought I could just cut down on the portion sizes to get that bumper...

    Spikes

just wanted to clarify, is the goal to have less spikes as well as less pronounced spikes after eating? So is whole grain better because it doesn’t spike as fast and is more smooth?

Estimated a1c on libre is 4.8percent

Is this likely to be accurate and is this a good reading? I’ve been taking Ozempic for 11 months and have been trying to address issues in my diet although there is definitely room for improvement with my diet although I have an eating disorder also which complicates matters

    Brownie and flavoured latte

According to libre this had less of an impact on my blood sugar than stir fry and noodles. How can this be?

Pairing foods to make food healthier?

I saw something on Instagram that said if you pair a banana with peanut butter it’s not as bad for you as just a banana and egg bites with a latte is not as bad as a latte on its own? How does this work?

    Questions about BG maybe stupid

So is it important to keep blood sugar under 6 when not eating? Is it important to keep it as steady as possible? Is it ok if it fluctuates between 3.5 and 6 when not eating? What should I do (if anything) if it goes under 4? What can I do if it hits 8? Should I exclude all food that makes me...

I’m looking for a basic book to introduce me to diabetes 2. At this stage not looking for recipes or similar focus on diet change etc. I’m starting to panic because I’ve just learned diabetes is not reversible :( thanks

If you are receiving Ozempic and have been for the last 10 months? How do you know when it’s time to come off it?

How do I get rid of diabetes?

Should I cut as much sugar out of my diet as possible and will this resolve my diabetes? I have been taking Ozempic for about 9 months and I have lost 3 stone in weight since diagnosis. Now I’m approximately 2 stone overweight. Is it guaranteed that I’ll reverse diabetes?
